Tiana Van Walleghem began playing guitar at the age of 7. For 10 years she studied music at the Conservatoire de l’île de la Réunion, where she met Benoît Mussard, and validated her diploma of musical studies in 2017.
During this period, she performed solo and in various chamber music ensembles with violin, cello, flute, percussion, guitar, vocals and accordion, with a particular taste for modern music inspired by Spanish and South American music.
A few years later, she enrolled at the Conservatoire de la Rochelle, where she also took up piano, singing and jazz. During this period, she continued to perform in a variety of bands and met many guitarists from different backgrounds: Valérie Duchâteau, Mathias Duplessy, Samuelito, Antoine Boyer… who inspired her to continue along this path. With this in mind, in September 2022 she entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where her path crossed that of Benoît Mussard, marking the resumption of their duo.

A native of Ïle de la Reunion, Benoit Mussard explores the many facets of the guitar through a wide range of styles. Classical music, Brazilian colors, Reunionese rhythms and flavors blend together. His debut album Tropikal subtly reflects these diverse influences. The sounds of wind, rain, storm and birds vibrate beneath the strings of ukulele, guitar and kora.
A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in classical guitar, and of the Sorbonne University in musicology, the guitarist pursues his path between teaching, shows for young audiences, improvisation and composition. Winner of several international competitions, Benoit is currently pursuing a master’s degree in composition at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.
