Emanuele Stracchi (1990) is an italian pianist, composer, conductor and harpsichordist. He is an eclectic musician, graduated with honors in Piano, Composition, Film Scoring and Conducting: he studied at S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and also graduated in Philosophy at the Roma Tre University; with improvement at the “Chigiana” in Siena and “Accademia di Pinerolo”. Also interested in improvisation, ancient music and new languages such as contemporary music and jazz, he has won several international awards including the Stresa International Music Competition and the Grand Prize Virtuoso in Vienna, Bonn and Amsterdam, Salzburg. He has played in many Italian and European halls, in the USA at Carnegie Hall in New York, also winning the First Prize for the NY Global Music Competition Composition section. He merges his intense concert activity with music composition activity, indeed his scores have been awarded and performed at important institutions such as Rai Radio 3; he publishes for Erom Edizioni Romana Musica. In the field of film music he collaborates with Polizia di Stato, Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, Mag Teatro, Istituto-Luce Cinecittà and the Ministry of Culture; the Terni Film Festival awarded him the Gastone Moschin Award 2022. He is a professor of Music Theory at the Conservatory of Benevento.
