An exceptional concert in a place steeped in history, discover Gospel Dream at the American Cathedral!
Founded in 1990, the group is now the most active, with liturgical singing on the rise since the late 90s.
Some are of African origin, others come from the West Indies and the USA.
The Gospel Dream choir is a mixed, cosmopolitan ensemble of black singers and musicians:
- 5 tenors – 6 female voices -1 soprano – 1 contralto -2 bass singers – 1 pianist – 1 trumpet player.
On stage, the choir exudes joie de vivre, with voices that cover every nuance, from murmurs to improvised vocalizations. Their concert is designed to allow the audience to participate, bear witness and share in a hymn to love.
