Julie Anna Zappalà is a classical pianist and composer. Passionate by René Char’s poetry and by phenomenology, she is convinced that music is the crossing point between two ipseities, both composer’s and intepret’s, and she concentrates her work on that idea.

Born in Brussels, from a Dutch mother and an Argentinian father, she performs in Paris, London, Brussels, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, in all of France as well as in various festivals like the “Flâneries” of contemporary art in Aix-en-Provence, “Musique au Coeur du Médoc” in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, “Passion Piano” in Dinan, in Commarin’s Castle, “Piano en Fête” in la Roque d’Anthéron, she’s invited to play at the Crillon & the Passy Theatre in Paris…
