Laura Losada, Soprano – Cristian Monti, piano

Laura Losada, soprano, was born in Spain. She studied in Conservatories in the Spanish Basque and in Paris, Chatillon and Montreuil. In Paris, she studied with Michèle Claverie, Françoise Macciocchi, Isabelle Marcisanz, Nicole Paramythioti, Geoffrey Jourdin and Ronald Klekamp. She has received honours in the Concours « Bellan », « Ufam » and « Les maîtres du chant français ». Her opera roles have included Frasquita in ‘Carmen” by Bizet in Chatillon, the doll in the « Contes d’Hoffmann » by Offenbach as well as  Belinda in « Dido and Aeneas » by Purcell in the Massy-Palaiseau Theatre. .

Cristian Monti, a pianist from Italy and former student of Francoise Thinat at l’École Normale de musique de Paris, performs regularly both as a soloist and continuo in Paris (Salle Cortot), London (Royal Albert Hall), Rome (Roma 3 Orchestra), in Spain, Austria and Belgium. In 2021, he recorded an album dedicated to the music of G.F. Händel and F. Geminiani for Galaxie-Y which was broadcast on France Musique on « En pistes » with Emilie Munera and Rodolphe Bruneau Boulmier and on Rai Radio 3 in Italy
