Naama Liany embarked her 2017-18 season with a worldwide tour of UNA FOLÍA! recital program which included performances in New York, London, Paris, Madrid, and Brussels. Since her arrival to Europe Liany sang in the New Year’s Festival, Gstaad,
Alcala Clasicos Para Todos Festival (Madrid), De la Musique Avant Toute Chose Festival Paris, Mezzo solo in Mozart’s C minor mass in St Germain En Laye.
Other roles and concerts included a young soloist in Lyrique en Mer Music Festival (Belle Ile en Mer, France), the role of Marcelina (Le Nozze di Figaro) in Velbert, Germany and Nei Stemmen concert in Luxembourg. Liany was also one of few
singers selected to participate at the Gstaad Vocal Academy (Menuhin Festival) directed by Madame Cecilia Bartoli & Madame Silvana Bazzoni. Other significant collaborations include working with Maestro Alberto Zedda.

Today, Liany works with legendary Mezzo-Soprano Victoria Cortez and Maestro Tamir Chasson.Born in Israel, trained in New York City, and currently, lives in Paris. While residing in New York, she performed on prestigious stages such as the Carnegie Hall, Everson Museum of Art & DiMenna Center, soloist with the Bach Society of Columbia University in J.S Bach Magnificat, and a performance of the role of the Innkeeper’s Wife from Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen. In Israel, Liany sang the role of the Mayor in Gil Shohat’s The Happy Prince among many recitals and solo performances with various ensembles.Liany won the 1st prize in the Buchman-Heiman competition and is a recipient of scholarships from the Ronen Foundation, and the Shlomit Ben-Zvi Foundation.

Catherine Imbert
studied with Denis Pascal at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory where she obtained first prizes in piano and chamber music. Then she studied with Aleksandar Madzar at the Köninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels where she graduated with a master in piano with honors. Catherine pursued her training as a chamber musician with renowned teachers such as Pascal Moragues (Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory), Marie-Paule Milone (Paris Municipal Conservatory)
and Quatuor Ysaye (Paris Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional) as a duet with violinist Laure Franz. She graduated from Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique with a teaching degree and now teaches at Aulnay-sous-Bois Conservatory.

Catherine performs in several ensembles in France and in Europe : as soloist with orchestra, in solo recitals, in duet with violinist Simon Milone and pianist Violaine Debever, and she accompanies singers, including Naama Liany and Raphael Jardin, with whom she reached finals at the international competition of French melodies in Toulouse in 2017. She is often invited at Tons Voisins Festival in Albi and Rencontres Musicales in Calenzana (Corsica). She is part of
Artis ensemble, a flexible group that performs in Paris and all over France. Catherine is pianist for the project La boîte à joujoux by Claude Debussy which can be seen on many French stages (Sully sur Loire festival, Tours Opera).
