Pablo Lentini Riva, born in Milan in 1971, is a teacher and performer of classical guitar. He studied in Milan with Vittorio Casagrande, Ruggero Chiesa and Paolo Cherici, graduating with honors from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory. He studied at the Musikhochschule in Vienna with David Russell, in Conegliano with Stefano Grondona and in Meudon with Betho Davezac.
From an early age, he attracted the attention of audiences and specialist critics alike for his extraordinary sound, his musicality and the refinement of his interpretations. “Pablo Lentini Riva gives poetic life to every note,” declared the music critic of Westdeutsche Zeitung at a concert the musician gave in Germany.
He has won numerous national and international music competitions, including absolute first prize in a competition for all instruments set up by the Rotary Club Milano San Babila, and has given concerts all over the world.
He has recorded numerous CDs, and his disc “Monisieur Blancrocher”, devoted to French and German Baroque compositions, is unanimously regarded as one of the finest records of Baroque music transcribed and performed on the modern guitar. “A marvel of musicality”. (Betho Davezac)
Pablo Lentini Riva teaches classical guitar and chamber music with guitar at the Frédéric Chopin Conservatory in Paris and the Marcel Dupré Conservatory in Meudon.
