Rishabh Jain

Originally from New Delhi, Rishabh is a pianist and educator currently based in London. He made his debut in 2018, winning the Con Brio piano competition in India, sponsored by Steinway & Sons, where he performed works by Alexander Scriabin, Béla Bartok, and Robert Schumann. Subsequently, Rishabh was awarded a full scholarship to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London under the guidance of Philip Fowke, Alisdair Hogarth, and Mikhail Kazakevich. Rishabh enjoys a multifaceted career as both a soloist and a collaborator.

Rishabh has a passion for discovering pieces by upcoming composers. In his recent recital in London, he premiered a piece called “Le Blanc N’Existe Pas” by upcoming Indian composer Nipun Cheema, which truly showcases his passion for improvisation. Rishabh has showcased his musical prowess by playing keys for several artists on their tracks.

Recently, in an interview, Rishabh highlighted his impressive journey as an Indian pianist. He aims to inspire the next generation of Indian pianists through his achievements and dedication to music.

The concert features compositions by an  Indian composer Nipun Cheema, whose works are inspired by art, philosophy, and science fiction, juxtaposed with timeless classics from the Western repertoire.  In addition, there are compositions by the British composer Edwin York Bowen, Debussy and Beethoven.
