Two Choirs with Symphony Orchestra
The Drammen Symphony Orchestra is one of the best amateur symphony orchestras in Norway, and will be celebrating 100 years of existence in 2019. As part of the anniversary celebrations the orchestra will be going on tour, joined by the Norwegian choir Oslo Oratory Choir. While on tour in France the Drammen Symphony Orchestra and the Oslo Oratory Choir will be giving a concert at the American Cathedral in Paris with the Paris Choral Society.
Back home in Norway the 100 year celebrations will include the Drammen Symphony Orchestra performing Messiah in one of the biggest churches in Oslo in May 2019 together with Sølvguttene (The Norwegian broadcasting boys’ choir) and Oslo Oratory Choir. This concert will consist of almost 250 singers.
