Valentina Grisafi, pianiste et compositrice
Valentina Grisafi, pianist and composer, obtained the academic diplomas of I and piano level with honors at the State Conservatory of Music ”A. Scarlatti” formerly ”V. Bellini” in Palermo under Prof. Enza Vernuccio, and the diploma in composition (o.v.) at the State Conservatory of Music ”A. Scarlatti” formerly ”V. Bellini” under the direction of M° Marco Betta. She attended an Ottoman-Turkish Sufi music course held by Maestro Stèfane Gallet, Piano Masterclass with Maestros Michele Marvulli, Giuseppe Merli, Luminita Rotaru Costantinovici, Emanuele Torquati etc. from 2010 to 2013 with Maestro Roberto Plano.
She attended the course on the use of Cubase Steinberg at the Studios Academy in Rome. She gives concerts for various organizations and associations in Italy and abroad. She performs as a soloist, but also in various chamber ensembles, always receiving public and critical acclaim. In 2015, she took part in the Vexations Piano Marathon of E. Satie, organized by Palermo’s Teatro Massimo. In addition to her concert activity, she has composed the activity of composition with which he has had performances by institutions such as the Foundation Teatro Massimo of Palermo, the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi of Palermo, the Foundation of the Symphony Orchestra of Sicily, the Conservatory “A. Scarlatti” formerly known as “V. Bellini” in Palermo. Her compositions are published by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia.
In 2021 and 2022, she was awarded the prestigious classical-contemporary prize at the Global Music Awards in Los Angeles (California, USA), receiving the bronze medal for her piano piece “Sicilitudine” and the bronze medal for her Notturno Soledad.
