Music Inspired by a Southern State ( details of program below) Admission is free.CompletePoster21May2019

Alabama. It’s grandma in the kitchen. It’s long hot summers, sweat, and mosquitos. It’s football in the fall. It’s fields of white and houses of faith. It’s a complicated past. It’s a bright future. Alabama. It’s home.

We celebrate the music born in this State, now 200 years old. All of the music performed tonight was made famous by a Son or Daughter of Alabama. We will also pay a special tribute to the music made in the famous Muscle Shoals studios. From Classical to Country, from Jazz to Gospel, our Alabama has produced some of the best of music. You will hear some of your favorites. You might hear something new. You will definitely hear a Wallace State twist!

We invite you to sit back, sing, clap along, laugh, cry, and reminisce with us as we journey through decades of memories of home. of Alabama.
